Adafruit Expansion Board 3.1 for WiPy IoT Development Platform

This WiPy 3.0 compatible Expansion Board v3.1 enhances your IoT projects with added capabilities by simply inserting the WiPy 3.0 into the headers. It supports a range of devices including WiPy 2.0, WiPy 3.0, LoPy, LoPy4, SiPy, FiPy, and GPy.

Specifications extend across USB and LiPo battery power options, featuring a custom PIC USB to serial converter with automatic bootloader mode. Power versatility is heightened with a LiPo battery charger (BQ24040) supporting charging currents of 100mA and 450mA. Equipped with a TPS2115A for reverse voltage protection.

Additional features include a microSD card slot, a JST style battery connector, and clearly visible power and charge status LEDs. User interaction is facilitated through one user LED and a user switch, along with a dedicated button for easy entry into "safe mode." You can also monitor battery voltage via the WiPy ADC and adjust the configuration with multiple jumpers. Remember, the WiPy is not included; this is exclusively the expansion board.
