Adafruit Cool White LED Weatherproof Flexi-Strip 60 LED - 5m

These ultra-bright, fun, and glowy LED strips feature 60 cool white LEDs per meter and are easily controllable with any microcontroller and a power transistor. Designed for architectural lighting or creative projects like bike or car decoration, these LED strips provide a vibrant glow for any setting.

Featuring a weatherproof design with a white background, these strips include a 3M adhesive backing that sticks to most smooth surfaces. Operating with a 9-12VDC power supply, they are ideal for both indoor and light outdoor use, provided they are not exposed to direct sunlight or submerged in water.

Specifications include a 5-meter reel sold by the meter, with each reel having cut-lines every 5cm for customization. To connect, a 2.1mm female jack is recommended. Use an NPN or N-channel MOSFET for dimming via PWM input.

Note that while they come with a weatherproof coating, they are not suitable for long-term water immersion or UV exposure. For soldering, cut the strip easily and connect using the 0.1" copper pads. Always attempt both wire directions during connection, as the strip isn't damaged by incorrect wiring.
