Adafruit Assembled Standard LCD 16x2 + extras - White on Blue

Standard HD44780 LCDs are perfect for crafting standalone projects. This LCD 16x2 display features a pre-soldered header for convenience. Displaying 16 characters over 2 rows, it offers crisp white text on a blue background.

The connection port’s 0.1" pitch single row simplifies breadboarding and wiring. Each pin is clearly marked on the LCD's back to guide your setup. A single LED backlight, easily dimmable with a resistor or PWM, minimizes power consumption compared to EL backlights.

This unit is fully controllable with just 6 digital lines, suitable for both analog and digital use. It includes support for English and Japanese languages with a customizable character set allowing up to 8 additional characters.

A contrast potentiometer is included for adjustments. Comprehensive tutorials are available for both Arduino and CircuitPython to ensure seamless integration.
