This warm-white glowy letter is crafted from COB (chip on board) LEDs, often found in 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, masterfully arranged for a bright, warm lighting effect. Comprising numerous micro LED diodes, they are bonded onto a sturdy metal backing and shielded with silicone.
While the LEDs are situated on one side, the thin PCB substrate allows for a soft glow on the reverse. Operating on a mere 3V with a recommended max throughput of 100mA using a resistor for current limiting, these letters shine bright. Notably rigid, they boast a uniform glow reminiscent of a tungsten filament.
Easily arrange into words; their lightweight design allows for effortless adhesion on surfaces, sewing onto fabric, or securing with fishing line. As a linear LED, they are compatible with PWM dimming. Power them by connecting to both ends; the negative cathode side is marked with a minus symbol on the PCB.
Should it not light up immediately, a simple polarity switch could do the trick. These are compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs or allow for soldering/clipping at the bottom tabs, offering flexible connection options.
