This warm-white glowy letter is crafted from COB (chip on board) LEDs, commonly used in 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, ensuring a bright, warm lighting effect. Each letter consists of dozens of micro LED diodes bonded on a metal backing and coated in silicone for added protection.
Even with LEDs placed on one side, the thin PCB substrate allows a soft glow from the back. Functioning effortlessly at just 3V, ensure to limit current to a maximum of 100mA using a resistor. Uniform in glow, these letters effectively mimic tungsten-like filaments.
Assemble them into words as their light weight allows easy attachment to surfaces, fabrics, or via fishing line. With PWM compatibility, dimming is straightforward. Simply connect to 3V power, observing the cathode negative marked with a - symbol on the PCB. If lighting doesn't occur, reverse the connection.
Specification compatibility includes Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs - 0.11" or soldering/clipping to the bottom tabs is also viable.
