This warm-white glowy letter is crafted using COB (chip on board) LEDs, commonly featured in 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, arranged meticulously to emit a bright, warm lighting effect. The device comprises dozens of micro LED diodes, bonded on a sturdy metal backing and coated with silicone for protection.
Specifications include a thin PCB substrate, allowing light emission from the back, albeit dimmer. It's powered by 3V with a recommended 100mA current limit, achievable by using a resistor. The LED array is set in parallel for efficient power distribution but is not flexible.
Enjoy consistent illumination akin to a tungsten filament. Lightweight design enables dynamic installation options: glue to surfaces, sew onto fabrics, or bind with fishing line. As it’s essentially a 'big long LED', PWM dimming is straightforward.
For operation, connect a 3V power source to both ends; the cathode side is marked with a '-' symbol. If it doesn't illuminate immediately, reverse the connection. Compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs (0.11" - 10 pack) or via soldering/clipping to bottom tabs.
