This prototyping shield offers seamless compatibility with Arduino models including UNO, NG, Diecimila, and Duemilanove. It can be used with a Leonardo, but be aware that it won't break out the hardware SPI pins except on the ISP connector underneath.
Featuring an easy-to-use 0.1"x0.1" prototyping grid and large pads, it simplifies circuit building. The IC pattern supports DIP ICs with up to 20 pins, plus power rails positioned centrally and on the sides.
Designed for practical application, it comes with a reset button, an additional general-purpose button, two 3mm general-use LEDs (red and green), and two matched resistors.
An ICSP header is situated on top for those who prefer uploading programs using a programmer. The surface-mount chip area accommodates up to 14 SOIC-sized parts.
Compatible with tiny or standard breadboards with removed rails, every pin is accessible, including new 3V and Reset header pins. Two 0.1uF capacitors boost power stability.
Provided as a kit, assembly is straightforward, catering to beginners. Note: Arduino and breadboards are not included.
