Adafruit NeoTrellis RGB Driver PCB for 4x4 Keypad

Our latest Trellis elastomer button kits now incorporate full-color NeoPixel support on a newly upgraded PCB, eliminating the constraints of single-color LEDs. Beneath our tactile rubbery button pads, you can enjoy a spectrum of vivid colors to suit any project.

A 4x4 button pad board with I2C communication capabilities offers a tile-able design with five address pins, allowing for connection of up to 32 boards. Arrange them in any configuration, seamlessly integrating them into vast interactive displays or control setups.

The integration of our seesaw I2C-to-anything chip simplifies the process, managing both button input and LED control solely over I2C. Support for Arduino/C++ and CircuitPython/Python libraries ensures compatibility with a variety of microcontrollers and computers.

Whether building an innovative user interface, a dynamic MIDI instrument, or an advanced control panel, these boards enrich projects with alluring, diffused lighting. We provide a JST-PH 4-pin connector for quick connections, and it's partially Grove compatible. For larger assemblies, solder the boards edge-to-edge, close the I2C address jumpers, and use a single I2C connection for all linked NeoTrellis boards.
