The NeoTrellis M4 is an all-in-one USB + NeoPixel + Elastomer + Audio board. Powered by the versatile SAMD51 Cortex M4 core at 120 MHz, it supports both CircuitPython and Arduino. Its hardware features include a roomy 512KB flash and 192KB of SRAM, complemented by an 8MB flash chip for ample file and audio storage.
Equipped with a 4x8 grid of elastomer button pads, each with a NeoPixel light, their fully diode'd matrix prevents ghosting and allows simultaneous button presses. The buttons light up in any of 24-bit colors, adding a vibrant visual element to your projects.
The dual 12-bit DACs provide 'true analog' outputs via a standard headphone jack, making it perfect for playing audio clips and creating unique soundscapes. You can even utilize the fourth pin on the jack for microphone or line-in functionality. Additional audio inputs are supported through a built-in electret mic amp.
Enhance interactivity with an integrated triple-axis accelerometer for detecting motion, tilt, and taps, offering another dimension for data input. A 4-pin JST hacking port provides flexibility for expanding with extra sensors or devices, compatible with STEMMA and Grove systems.
This mainboard's specifications cater to innovative and exploratory audio-visual projects, ensuring a dynamic and creative experience.
