Adafruit NeoPixel LED Star Shape Pixel Strand - 20 LEDs

Attaching NeoPixel strips to your costume can be challenging; the flexible PCBs often crack under stress. Replace them with these stranded NeoPixel LEDs that come in charming 5-pointed star shapes, ensuring vibrant and reliable illumination.

Each strand features 20 stars, each housing an RGB NeoPixel, linked by cabling. Positioned 6 inches apart, these stars are individually addressable with 8 bits per RGB channel, offering a spectrum of 16-million colors.

The NeoPixels are 5050-sized LEDs with an embedded microcontroller. Control brightness for each RGB component seamlessly. As shift registers, they read incoming data on input pins and shift existing data out via output pins. This allows for infinite LED control by simply adding or removing strands.

With built-in PWM in each LED-chip, once set, brightness is maintained independently. The 20 digitally-addressable pixel LEDs feature JST 3-pin SM connectors for easy chaining. Connect with ease: the red wire serves as +5V, the middle wire carries data, and the black wire is the ground. The pin connector is for input, while the hole connector is the output.
