Adafruit LM73100 23V 5A Max Ideal Diode Breakout

If your project requires efficient power management, the Adafruit LM73100 Ideal Diode breakout is an essential tool. It effectively regulates power from 3 to 23V DC and up to 5A.

Unlike traditional diodes, it minimizes loss by avoiding over 1V forward drop, utilizing two back-to-back FETs with 30 mΩ typical Rdson. This results in only about 150mV loss at 5A, making it ideal for projects like solar panels and LiPoly batteries.

Designed for simplicity and ease-of-use, it features solder-free setup with on-board terminal blocks and a green LED for immediate visual feedback of correct power direction. Monitoring power usage is straightforward using the analog voltage from the IMON pin.
