Adafruit INA238 DC Current Voltage Power Monitor

The INA238 is a remarkable power monitoring chip featuring up to 85VDC common-mode support for precise high or low side measurements. Its 16-bit ADC provides exceptional measurement accuracy from milliamps to Amps.

Offering I2C interface for easy alerts, oversampling, and gain adjustments, this breakout board measures currents up to 10A with its 15 milliohm shunt resistor, ensuring flexibility in high or low side DC current monitoring.

Unlike the INA228, the INA238 boasts a 0.1% gain error and ±5 µV max offset voltage, making it a perfect fit for users needing high precision. With support for CircuitPython and Arduino, it integrates seamlessly with microcontrollers and Raspberry Pi.

Compatible with 3V or 5V logic and capable of measuring bus voltages up to +85VDC, this device delivers data over I2C with more than 1% accuracy. Just connect up to four sensors on one bus using the address jumpers provided.

Equipped with SparkFun qwiic-compatible STEMMA QT connectors, soldering becomes optional, offering simple connectivity to your favorite microcontrollers with a QT Cable. The board includes a 3.5mm terminal block and requires minimal soldering to attach the header.
