Adafruit FONA - uFL Version Starter Pack

Boasting a compact design at just 1.75"x1.25", the module is powered by the SIM800 chipset, enabling global 2G network connectivity. Enjoy crystal-clear calls with either a headset or external speaker and mic, and send or receive SMS and GPRS data.

The onboard LiPoly battery charging circuitry allows mobile operation with any 500mAh+ battery. The standard 4-pole TRRS jack is compatible with Android and iPhone headsets. A microcontroller (not included) is required to drive the module, and we recommend using an Arduino UNO.
