The Adafruit FONA MiniGSM module transforms your project into a versatile communication hub by providing voice, text, SMS, and data capabilities within a compact design. Sized at just 1.75"x1.25", this module integrates the advanced SIM800 GSM cellular technology, allowing connectivity with any global 2G network using a mini SIM card.

Key features include quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz functionality, making and receiving voice calls via headphones or an external speaker and microphone, and transmitting SMS and GPRS data. Additionally, the module supports FM radio scanning and features a PWM buzzer for noiseless notifications.

Equipped with on-board LiPoly battery charging, the module offers portability with intuitive status LED indicators. With level-shifting circuitry, it supports 2.8V to 5V logic systems. For customization, it features breakouts for external peripherals and uFL connections for external antennas.
