Experience altitude measurement precision like never before with the Infineon DPS310 sensor. This high-precision barometric sensor provides up to ±0.002 hPa (or ±0.02 m) precision in high precision mode and ±1 hPa absolute accuracy, allowing you to determine your absolute altitude with 1-meter accuracy when sea-level pressure is set.
Ideal for drones and altitude-sensitive robots, this sensor detects altitude changes with up to 2 cm precision. In environmental sensing applications, it can predict weather system changes seamlessly. Whether you're using I2C or SPI, integration is effortless.
The DPS310 also features a built-in temperature sensor with ±0.5°C accuracy. For optimal low-noise readings, utilize its ability to perform a low-pass filter through multiple measurements. It operates efficiently from 300 to 1200 hPa and within ambient temperatures of -40 to 85 °C.
To simplify usage, the sensor is mounted on a breakout PCB with support circuitry, compatible with 3.3V (Feather/Raspberry Pi) or 5V (Arduino/Metro328) logic levels. With I2C compatibility, just connect it using two wires (plus power and ground). SparkFun qwiic-compatible STEMMA QT connectors further ease connectivity without soldering, though a QT Cable is required.
Simply connect to your preferred microcontroller and access our CircuitPython/Python or Arduino drivers for streamlined interfacing with the DPS310.
