DotStar LED strips offer an exceptional LED lighting experience, surpassing the NeoPixel with improved speed and performance. Using a 2-wire SPI protocol, data transmission is significantly faster, with no precise timing needed, making them versatile for varied applications.

Featuring a 20 kHz PWM refresh rate, DotStars deliver flicker-free, crisp visuals, perfect for Persistence-of-Vision projects. The phosphor blends three white dies for an intensely bright, consistent white light, avoiding the inconsistencies of RGB white mixing.

Each strip is designed on flexible PCB material, enclosed in weatherproof sheathing for durability. Strips are sold by the meter, with options to connect additional strips for longer configurations. Easily customized, they can be cut every 1 LED and soldered using 0.1" copper pads.

Compatible with all major microcontrollers, including Arduino and Raspberry Pi, DotStar LEDs deliver seamless integration, with robust hardware support for SPI, though not required, and data rates reaching up to 32 MHz clock speed.

The 30 LED-per-meter version is ideal for intricate designs, with a 5V DC power requirement. Available in Cool White, Warm White, and RGB, these strips are a versatile choice for creative lighting solutions, offering both precision control and exceptional brightness.
