Adafruit 14-segment LED Alphanumeric Backpack - STEMMA QT

By popular request, our 14-segment LED backpacks are now available without the LEDs. Featuring the HT16K33 I2C LED driver, these backpacks are simple and efficient. Utilize our user-friendly library to start displaying numbers and letters in less than 30 minutes.

Ideal for those intrigued by matrix displays, this solution offers simplicity without compromising functionality. Like our previous models, these LED backpacks are end-to-end stackable, allowing for up to 8 units on the same two I2C wires.

To enhance convenience, the board retains its size and pinout but now incorporates two STEMMA QT connectors. These are compatible with SparkFun Qwiic I2C connectors. This facilitates solderless connections between your development board and the HT16K33 or seamlessly integrates with a variety of sensors and accessories using a compatible cable.

The package includes a fully tested and assembled LED backpack with a 4-pin header. A bit of soldering is needed to attach the header for breadboard usage and to connect the display. Please note, alphanumeric displays are not included, but compatible options are available in our store.
