Conventional setups demand 24 GPIO pins, but the 16x8 LED matrix backpack PCB simplifies this with a HT16K33 I2C driver. Seamlessly control LEDs with only two I2C pins and a universal library supporting all Feathers.

Ideal for scrolling displays or small video displays, it's straightforward to display bitmap emoticons or scrolling text akin to dealership signs. The kit includes a tested and assembled 16x8 0.8" LED FeatherWing, two bright 8x8 red matrices, and two 16-pin headers.
