Adafruit 802.3af PoE Output Data & Power Splitter - 12V 1A

Power over Ethernet splitters simplify project wiring by connecting any 802.3af-capable router to Ethernet devices, even those without native PoE support. They separate a unified PoE signal into Ethernet data and +12VDC power lines for non-PoE devices.

This versatile splitter, compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard, offers an economical and reliable solution. It works with any compatible PoE injector, supplying power and data to non-PoE network equipment.

Key features include IEEE 802.3af compliance, 10/100M data transmission support, and 44V-57V power voltage input, allowing use with a DC48V power source. It delivers 1 Amp regulated DC12V power via a 2.1mm DC barrel jack, suitable for small projects.

Compatible only with true 802.3af routers; passive PoE kits are available if a PoE injector, hub, or router is not present.
