Adafruit 74HC595 Shift Register - 3 pack

Add numerous outputs to a microcontroller setup with chainable shift registers. These 74HC595 chips accept a serial input (SPI) of 1 byte (8 bits) and deliver those bits to 8 pins. Chain them for expanded output possibilities; connect three for 24 digital outputs, or link even more for extensive control.

This package includes three 74HC595 chips, compatible with NXP or TI brands. The chips are in DIP packages, suitable for breadboards or perfboards with 0.1" spacing.
