Adafruit 4 MHz Crystal + 20pF capacitors

Keep your microcontroller operating precisely with this 4.000 MHz timing crystal. It's housed in an HC49/US 'short style' standard package, making it both breadboard friendly and simple to integrate into any device requiring an external crystal.

Included are two 20pF capacitors to complement your setup. Offering a 30PPM tolerance and 50PPM stability, it serves well in high precision applications such as USB timing, long-term time-keeping, or RF/PLL/VCO driving.

Simply connect the crystal’s two pins to the XTAL-in and XTAL-out on your circuit. The symmetric package design ensures ease of installation, while each pin requires a capacitor to ground. Refer to your microcontroller's datasheet for additional component requirements, like a 1 Megaohm resistor.
