This USB soldering iron is ideal for some fast soldering work (wires, small components), for desoldering or soldering material that conducts the heat well, this soldering iron is less suitable. When the soldering iron is plugged in, the button on the housing must be touched to activate it, after which it is heated up within 15 seconds. After 30 seconds, the soldering iron automatically switches off when this button is no longer touched, and the soldering iron cools down within 25 seconds.
