The TS01 IR sensor outputs a standard industrial 4-20mA current signal. To interface with a microcontroller unit, a current-to-voltage converter is recommended for optimal performance. With an integrated optical filter that cuts off visible and near-infrared radiant flux, the sensor is designed to withstand interference from sunlight and ambient light sources, ensuring its readings remain unaffected.

Featuring a narrow field of view at just 5°, this sensor is optimized for targeted measurement. For a heat source with a 10 cm outer diameter, it can accurately measure distances up to 116 cm, showcasing its capacity for precise remote thermal detection in challenging scenarios.
