Encased in a sleek metal frame, TIMI-MB offers a stunning 160×80 resolution display with 65K vivid colors, ensuring clear visibility from any angle. Its mikroBUS™ interface allows for straightforward attachment to compatible development platforms.
The main interface operates on a 3.3V Asynchronous Serial UART, with three GPIOs that can function as Digital or Analog inputs, Digital Outputs, Controller I2C Communication, or PWM Audio output. This flexibility enables TIMI-MB to act as a stand-alone controller, a host-driven peripheral, or a tethered test instrument, all while powering external devices.
The module connects to the mikroBUS™ Click interface primarily via the Serial UART of the Click host. A selector switch enables easy programming by redirecting the RX signal to the programming header, allowing TIMI-MB to stay connected to the host board during programming. The reset function is linked to the mikroBUS™ RST.
A 5-pin programming header and a selection switch for programming mode or device connection to the mikroBUS™ Host are also included, enhancing the module's versatility.
Designed to simulate component readouts and meters, TIMI-MB accelerates development and conserves GPIO hardware typically limited in many projects. Its flexibility makes it ideal for engineers, hobbyists, and students of all skill levels.
