TFmini Plus ToF Single-Point Ranging Solid State LiDAR Sensor (12m, UART / I2C, IP65)

The TFmini Plus is a compact, single-point ranging LiDAR sensor with enhanced performance capabilities. By reducing blind spots and increasing the output frame rate, it significantly improves data stability and accuracy compared to its predecessor. This sensor now offers the versatility needed for varied scenarios, thanks to optimised compensation algorithms and an IP65 protection level, making it efficient even in challenging environments.

Despite its small size, comparable to a human finger, the TFmini Plus delivers exceptional ranging performance. It boasts dimensions of just 35x21x18.5 mm, yet it maintains a powerful detection range from 0.1 to 12 meters. With a reduced power consumption of only 85 mW, the device supports a flexible detection frequency, enhancing its adaptability to different tasks.

For its communication needs, the device is compatible with UART and I2C protocols and designed to be easily integrated into systems using DFRobot's Arduino library. Whether detecting items up to 12 meters away or navigating blind zones as small as 10 cm, the TFmini Plus manages tasks with precision, ensuring each reading is accurate.

Leveraging Time of Flight (TOF) technology, which involves emitting near-infrared modulated waves reflected by objects, it precisely calculates distances.
