This device measures 37.0mm x 20.0mm in size and operates with a maximum LED current of 3.5mA and a board current of 14mA. The QTRX-MD-05RC Reflectance Sensor Array is equipped with an array of IR LED/phototransistor pairs, making it an excellent tool for accurately identifying changes in reflectance, such as line detection. It operates within a voltage range of 2.9V to 5.5V and includes a dimmable brightness control feature that operates independently of the supply voltage.

The closer an object is to the sensor, the higher the contrast between light and dark readings. However, high-reflectance objects are typically detectable at a distance of up to 40mm. This version of the sensor array includes high-performance, low-current QTRX sensors equipped with lenses, enhancing its efficiency and accuracy.
