The SparkPNT GNSS Disciplined Oscillator Plus is a cutting-edge timing solution engineered for precision and reliability. Built in Boulder, Colorado, this advanced system features the multi-constellation, multi-frequency mosaic-T from Septentrio, offering exceptional resilience against GNSS jamming and spoofing. It boasts time pulse precision of 5 nanoseconds, which can improve to better than 1 nanosecond with a Fugro AtomiChron® subscription. The system includes a STP3593LF Double-Oven OCXO from Rakon, ensuring superior clock frequency stability and accuracy even during GNSS outages.

Ideal for laboratories or remote equipment, this device excels in providing highly accurate time and frequency synchronization. The GNSSDO+ is powered by the Espressif ESP32-WROVER processor, featuring 16MB of flash and 8MB of PSRAM. The disciplined 10MHz oscillator offers remarkable frequency calibration and stability, with digital control via I²C. The mosaic-T module supports USB-C connectivity, Ethernet-over-USB, and multiple UARTs, allowing seamless integration into your network with Power-over-Ethernet capability.

Designed for robustness and easy deployment, the GNSSDO+ houses all electronics on a single circuit board, excluding the Qwiic OLED display. It includes SMA connectors for the GNSS antenna, Pulse-Per-Second output, disciplined 10MHz output, and EventA input. IO connections are made through a 3.5mm header with cage screw connections, with selectable IO voltage between 3.3V and 5V. The microSD card is designed for easy insertion and removal, while the custom extruded aluminum case ensures durability and ease of installation in various environments.

The included antenna, certified by the National Geodetic Survey, ensures reliable performance without requiring internet access for the AtomiChron® service. Power options are versatile, including the mosaic-T USB-C connection, ESP32 USB-C connection, Power-over-Ethernet, or an external DC power source. The GNSS SMA antenna connection provides 3.3V for the active L1/L2/L5 antenna included in the kit. Note that while the mosaic-T is excellent for precise timing, it does not support RTK configurations.
