SparkFun Thing Plus - STM32

The SparkFun STM32 Thing Plus is a powerful, compact development platform. It features a 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 RISC core, bringing unmatched power and precision to your projects. The STM32 Thing Plus is an economical solution for projects that require more power within a minimal working space. The Thing Plus comes pre-flashed with the DFU bootloader and is Feather compatible, making it easy to integrate into your system. The board utilizes the Qwiic Connect System, eliminating the need for soldering or shields.

The STM32F405 Processor, upon which the STM32 Thing Plus is based, operates at a frequency of up to 168 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core is equipped with a floating point unit (FPU) single precision, supporting all ARM single precision data-processing instructions and data types. It also features a full set of DSP instructions and a memory protection unit (MPU) for enhanced application security. The board incorporates an extensive range of I/Os and peripherals, a 3.3V regulator, LiPo charger, 16MB of Flash and a microSD slot for expandable memory.

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space and ensuring correct connections with its polarized design.

The SparkFun STM32 Thing Plus offers a wealth of features. These include an ARM® 32-bit Cortex®-M4 CPU with FPU, 1 Mbyte of Flash memory, 192 Kbytes of SRAM, a flexible static memory controller supporting various memories, clock, reset and supply management, low-power operation modes, debug mode, and advanced connectivity options. Specific peripherals available on the STM32 Thing Plus include UART, I²C, and SPI buses, up to 15 Analog Inputs, two Analog Outputs, 20 Digital I/O Pins, 14 PWM Capable, SDIO for microSD card support, JTAG Serial Wire Debug Support, Power Select, LiPo Charging Circuit, 3.3V Regulator, and 128 Mbit SPI Flash.
