SparkFun Thing Plus - NINA-B306

The SparkFun NINA-B306 Thing Plus is a dynamic development platform that brings together the NINA-B306 from u-blox^™, the ISM330DHCX 6DoF IMU from STMicroelectronics^™, and the BME280 atmospheric sensor from Bosch Sensortec^™. This powerful combination is housed in the Thing Plus form factor, providing a compact and versatile solution for your development needs.

The NINA-B306 is a standout feature of this board, boasting a Bluetooth^® 5 compliant module and an Arm^® Cortex^®-M4 processor. With an integrated PCB antenna, there's no need for an external antenna. It also offers 1MB Flash and 250kB RAM, providing ample memory for your projects.

The BME280 sensor is a compact solution for measuring barometric pressure, humidity, and ambient temperature. It boasts a pressure range from 300 to 1100hPa and a full temperature accuracy range from 0 to 65°C. This sensor communicates with the NINA-B306 over I²C.

The ISM330DHCX 6DoF IMU is a high-performance 3D digital accelerometer and 3D digital gyroscope, perfect for Industry 4.0 applications. It offers user-selectable acceleration ranges and wide angular rate ranges. The ISM330DHCX also features Machine Learning Core, programmable FSM, FIFO, sensor hub, event decoding, and interrupts.

The NINA-B306 Thing Plus comes equipped with Qwiic and LiPo battery connectors, along with a selection of GPIO, Analog, and communication pins. The board also includes a MCP73831 single-cell LiPo charger and the MAX17048 fuel gauge to manage a connected battery. For external memory needs, a µSD card slot is also included.

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space and preventing connection errors.
