The SparkFun Simon Says - Through-Hole Soldering Kit is an excellent choice for beginners in soldering. This kit has been upgraded to make the assembly process even more straightforward. It includes all through-hole components, allowing you to learn how to solder while building your own Simon game. You'll get to work with a 28-pin microprocessor, LEDs, battery clips, and more.

The assembly of this kit not only provides a fun, engaging activity but also equips you with a deeper understanding of through-hole soldering. You will familiarize yourself with the necessary tools, techniques, and terminology to populate your own PCB prototype. Upon successful assembly, you'll have a development platform equipped with 5 outputs (LEDs and buzzer), 5 inputs (buttons), and serial for debugging.
