The kit features a 64GB memory card that offers ample storage space and superior read/write speeds to ensure smooth operation of most operating systems designed for the Raspberry Pi platform. This memory card is notably faster than previous models, bringing updates to the Raspian image 10 times quicker. The card comes blank, allowing you to choose from a variety of operating systems or projects specifically built for the Pi.
Powering the Raspberry Pi 4 is a USB Type C wall adapter and a Type C to Type C USB cable, providing a modular power system. The kit also includes a heat sink case that not only protects the Raspberry Pi board but also cools the major components, ensuring smooth operation during heavy usage. For easy and convenient control, a Logitech K400 Plus wireless keyboard is included in the kit. The HDMI to Micro HDMI cable allows you to interface with any HDMI monitor. The kit also features the Qwiic Shim, enabling you to easily attach any Qwiic Boards for testing.
Please note that the Qwiic Shim is not designed to be used with the Heatsink case, as it hinders the case from properly connecting with the processor. If you intend to use the Shim, the top of the case should be removed or an extension header should be used along with a Pi Hat.
The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space and ensuring error-free connections thanks to the polarized design.
