SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus

The SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus is your gateway to the Qwiic ecosystem. It's compatible with any Thing Plus or Feather boards, offering a seamless integration with Arduino development boards. This shield connects the I²C bus (GND, 3.3V, SDA, and SCL) on your Thing Plus to four SparkFun Qwiic connectors. The Qwiic ecosystem supports easy daisy chaining, allowing you to connect multiple Qwiic devices on different addresses.

The Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus comes with a 12-pin and a 16-pin header. Please note, you will need to solder these headers to the shield and, if necessary, to your Thing Plus or Feather board. Always match the markings on the Qwiic Shield to the appropriate pins on your Thing to avoid any potential damage to your boards.

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that simplify prototyping and reduce errors. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, saving PCB space and ensuring correct connections with its polarized design.

The SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus package includes one SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus and one Feather Stackable Header Kit. The shield is compatible with Thing Plus and Feather footprints and features 4 Qwiic Connection Ports, an I²C Jumper, and 3.3V and GND Buses.

In the latest revision of the SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus, the only change made was the inclusion of a set of Feather-Stackable Headers to improve the ease of use of the board.
