The OpenLog Artemis, or "OLA," is an open-source data logger that automatically logs IMU, GPS, serial data, and various pressure, humidity, and distance sensors. It detects, configures, and logs Qwiic sensors plugged into the board with no need for soldering or programming. The OLA is highly configurable over an easy-to-use serial interface. It is designed for users who need to capture a lot of data to a CSV for their larger project.
The Qwiic Mux Breakout is included to enable communication with multiple I2C devices that have the same address. It has eight configurable addresses of its own, allowing for up to 64 I2C buses on a connection. All communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing the handy Qwiic system.
The SparkFun Qwiic Scale is a small breakout board for the NAU7802 that allows you to easily read load cells to accurately measure the weight of an object. By connecting the board to your microcontroller, you will be able to read the changes in the resistance of a load cell and, with some calibration, get very accurate weight measurements. This scale translates sensor data into something your microcontroller can read.
Note: This kit does not include a load cell.
The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.
The kit includes the SparkFun OpenLog Artemis, SparkFun Qwiic Scale - NAU7802, SparkFun Qwiic Mux Breakout - 8 Channel (TCA9548A), Lithium Ion Battery - 1250mAh (IEC62133 Certified), microSD Card - 1GB (Class 4), Reversible USB A to C Cable - 0.8m, Flexible Qwiic Cable - 50mm, and Flexible Qwiic Cable - 100mm.
