A standout feature of the MINIR4 is the "detach relay" mode. This mode separates the states of external switches and the relay, ensuring that operating the external switch button doesn't affect the relay state. For example, with the "detach relay" mode active, turning off your light doesn't mean your smart light goes offline – you can still use the app to control it.

Additionally, the MINIR4 supports external switch control and can easily connect to various switches, including the momentary switch, door exit switch, SPDT switch, latching switch, and even dry contact sensors.

The SONOFF MINIR4 also functions as a gateway for the "eWeLink-Remote". After pairing with the MINIR4, you can add "eWeLink-Remote" sub-devices, such as R5 and S-MATE, which can then serve as remote controllers to control the MINIR4 locally through the eWeLink-Remote signal. This gives you the flexibility to create smart scenes and trigger other smart devices.
