Rubber Wheel & Motor Kit

This quality pack is designed for indoor robots, particularly compatible with our Home Care Robot platform. It includes a 12V low noise DC motor with 146 RPM, an encoder, and a pair of 136×24mm rubber wheels. The components are engineered to improve the reliability and performance of your robotic applications.

The 12V low noise DC motor is a robust and high-performing piece of technology. It features high torque output and an integrated optical encoder. The optical encoder provides 663 pulses per rotation, allowing it to sense a 0.54-degree rotation from the shaft. This precision is ideal for general PID speed control, making it an excellent choice for robotics and automation tasks. The motor's sturdy metal casing and gears make it suitable for harsh environments, withstanding impacts from objects or people. This motor is prevalent in mobile robotics and stationary automation devices, offering both durability and efficiency. The optical encoder is conveniently housed in a plastic casing for easy access, and the included cable facilitates a straightforward connection to various devices.

Complementing the motor are the 136×24mm rubber wheels, provided as a pair. These wheels have been meticulously tested on multiple surfaces such as carpet, wood, marble, and glass to ensure their effectiveness. The tire's design features optimal softness and a unique surface pattern. The dents on the tires offer excellent anti-slip properties, ensuring a firm grip on different surfaces, surpassing other tires in the market. These wheels are commonly employed on our HCR mobile robot platforms, enhancing stability and performance.

For secure installation, if the bearing hole is found to be loose, adhesive tape can be applied to the motor shaft plane. This simple adjustment increases friction between the motor and the coupling, ensuring a secure fit. This attention to detail helps to maintain the integrity of the system.
