Adafruit Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera Board - Infrared-sensitive Camera

The Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera Module is an infrared-sensitive camera designed as a compact add-on for Raspberry Pi. It lacks an IR cut filter, making it suitable for night vision applications. Its small size, approximately 25mm x 24mm x 9mm, and lightweight design at just over 3g ensure effortless integration into mobile and space-sensitive projects.

With a 5-megapixel sensor, it supports high-resolution still images (2592 x 1944 pixels) and video formats such as 1080p30 and 720p60. By utilizing the CSI interface, it offers high data transfer rates directly to the Raspberry Pi's processor, which is perfect for capturing fast-moving scenes or subtle low-light details.

This module shines in scenarios requiring infrared light, such as capturing nocturnal wildlife or engaging in infrared photography.
