Adafruit Parallax Propeller Quickstart USB Development Board

The QuickStart is an evaluation board designed for the versatile 8-Core Parallax Propeller. It delivers fundamental Propeller circuitry within an open-source reference design, enabling developers to utilize the included PCB layout files to accelerate their projects.

The QuickStart board is fully expandable, featuring an expansion header that grants unimpeded access to all I/O pins. It offers built-in button inputs and LEDs, perfect for programming demonstrations. This setup allows seamless integration and adaptability for various applications.

Featuring a bus-powered USB with a 3.3V regulator supporting up to 500 mA, the board includes a 5 MHz crystal, a 64KB EEPROM for both Propeller programs, and general-purpose use. The QuickStart also accommodates both sigma-delta A/D circuitry and an optional external crystal.

With its compact size of 2" x 3" (5.1 cm x 7.6 cm), the board supports external brownout reset installation and offers a robust 32 I/O pins, preparing it for various complex tasks. It showcases eight blue LEDs and eight resistive touch-buttons to enhance interactive projects.
