The MyoWare® 2.0 Arduino Shield is a versatile and user-friendly tool designed to facilitate the connection of up to six MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensors and Link Shields using 3.5mm TRS-to-TRS audio cables. This product is equipped with pre-populated male headers, allowing for easy stacking on your Arduino and simple connection of sensors for the monitoring of up to six muscle groups.
The MyoWare 2.0 Arduino Shield is compatible with development boards that have the Arduino Uno R3 standard footprint. It reserves all six analog input pins (A0-A5) on the Arduino. An added feature of the Arduino shield is a power jumper on the back, which allows you to select your output voltage to be 5V (default) or 3.3V for the muscle sensors. To fully utilize this product, a MyoWare 2.0 Link Shield and TRS-to-TRS cable are required for each MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor.
Please note that MyoWare and the Arduino Shield are not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation treatment, or prevention of disease, in a man or other animals.
The MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem includes shields that easily interface with the MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor, a low-cost, Arduino-compatible, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) sensor from Advancer Technologies. The unique connector system allows users to easily connect shields together with a compact low profile and connect to a microcontroller's analog input to measure raw, filtered, and rectified electrical activity of a target muscle. This eliminates the need for soldering connections between boards.
This product is the result of a collaboration with Brian Kaminski from Advancer Technologies. A portion of each sale goes back to them for product support and continued development.
Features of the MyoWare 2.0 Arduino Shield include 6x 3.5mm TRS Connectors, soldered male headers, Arduino Uno R3 Standard Footprint, and a 3.3V/5V Power Jumper. The board dimensions are 53.34mm x 59.69mm.
