The XL-MaxSonar-WRMA1 is a rugged ultrasonic component module packaged in a compact, robust PVC housing. Capable of very short to long-distance detection, this sensor meets the IP67 water intrusion standard and fits standard electrical 3/4-inch PVC pipe fittings seamlessly. This setup enables versatile placement while ensuring protection from harsh weather conditions.

Equipped with high-output acoustic power and continuously variable gain, the sensor employs real-time background calibration and waveform signature analysis, enhanced by noise rejection algorithms, to deliver virtually noise-free distance readings. These features hold steady even in noisy environments, whether acoustic or electrical.
