Adafruit Large 6V 3.7W Solar Panel

Harness more power from the sun with this custom-made large solar panel, designed to exceed the 2W capacity of standard panels. Featuring a 12-cell (6V) assembly mounted onto a fiberglass PCB, it is covered with PET plastic to protect the cells with no efficiency loss.

Two soldering spots on the conformal-coated back allow for easy connection, offering strength and minimal weight while maintaining functionality. The panel is not completely waterproof but can be made so by encasing the back in a protective box.

In practical use, this panel delivered over 550 mA when connected to a solar lipo charger on a sunny NYC day. Panels may come in 'charcoal' or 'silver' colors, with identical size and efficiency.
