Adafruit IDC Breakout Helper - 2x5 (10 pin)

This little 2x5 (10 pin, 0.1 inch spaced) IDC Breadboard Helper helps streamline your prototyping processes when used alongside 10-pin IDC cables. It consists of a 'pin-through' socket and a male header, designed to span the center of a breadboard or Perma-Proto, ensuring effortless connectivity.

The socket securely seats on the breadboard, while the header conveniently plugs into the socket, facilitating a seamless connection. The standard IDC cables, known for their common usage yet challenging interface with breadboards, find an efficient ally in this inexpensive tool. Optimal performance is achieved when soldered into place.

While we have successfully utilized these on solderless breadboards, be aware that compatibility may vary due to pin length differences. This package includes one socket and one header; note that the breadboard, Perma Proto, and IDC cable are not included.
