The weather resistant MB7374 HRXL-MaxSonar-WRST7 sensor offers exceptional millimeter resolution and operates at a 6Hz read rate, providing precise short to long distance detection capabilities from 500mm to 5000mm for the nearest detectable target. Enhanced sensitivity compared to standard sensors complements the versatile output options available: pulse width, analog voltage, and TTL serial.

Belonging to the HRXL-MaxSonar-WRS line, this robust ultrasonic sensor component module is housed in a compact PVC casing that complies with the IP67 water intrusion standard, making it an ideal fit for outdoor applications. Its design, compatible with standard 3/4 inch electrical PVC pipe fittings, ensures easy integration with existing systems.

The HRXL-MaxSonar-WRS sensors are expertly factory calibrated to produce narrow beam patterns, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of long-range detection zones. Featuring an internal filter with a recent biased exponential weighted average, the MB7374 sensor reduces sudden measurement changes, limited to a maximum adjustment of 7mm per second.
