ESP32 DevKitC Dual Antenna

The ESP32-DevKitC is a compact, entry-level development board that forms part of the ESP32 series. The board is designed with a low footprint and is optimized for seamless prototyping, thanks to its built-in ESP32 pinout. This development board is a perfect fit for breadboards and is equipped with the ESP32-WROOM-DA module. This module ensures high-quality wireless connectivity over large areas, using two complementary PCB antennas that are oriented in different directions.

The ESP32-WROOM-DA module stands out due to its technical specifications. It supports the co-existence of WiFi and Bluetooth® (Classic & Low-Energy) connectivity. Plus, it offers low-power consumption modes, making it ideal for a wide range of complex IoT application scenarios.

It's important to note that not all pins are broken out, and some have multiple roles. The pins D0, D1, D2, D3, CMD, and CLK are used internally for communication between ESP32 and SPI flash memory. These are located on both sides near the USB connector. It's recommended to avoid using these pins as this may interrupt access to the SPI flash memory/SPI RAM.

The ESP32-DevKitC boasts a range of features. It is based on the ESP32-WROOM-DA and most pins from the ESP32 module are broken out with support for PWM, ADC, DAC, I²C, I²S, and SPI. The board also includes a reset button, a boot button, a MicroUSB port, a 5v power LED, and a USB to UART Bridge.
