ESP32-C3 WROOM Module - 4MB (PCB Antenna)

The Espressif ESP32-C3 module is an advanced version of the renowned ESP32 Bluetooth® and WiFi compatible module. It is equipped with a single core, RISC-V-based processor with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth LE 5.0 radios. The module comes with a PCB antenna and castellated plated pins designed for surface-mount soldering. This version offers 4 MB of on-board SPI flash and can withstand temperatures up to 85 °C.

The ESP32-C3 module features a 32-bit core RISC-V microcontroller that can reach a maximum clock speed of 160 MHz. It is equipped with 22 configurable GPIOs, 400 KB of internal RAM and supports low-power-mode. This makes it versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications involving connected devices. Its high-temperature resilience makes it ideal for industrial and lighting applications. The module is backed by Espressif’s open-source ESP-IDF, simplifying development processes.

With WiFi and Bluetooth LE 5.0 offering long-range support, the ESP32-C3 module is ideal for creating devices with extensive coverage and improved user experience. It supports Bluetooth LE SIG Mesh and Espressif WiFi Mesh. Additionally, the robust RF performance of the ESP32-C3 is maintained even at higher operating temperatures.

Security is a key feature of the ESP32 line. The ESP32-C3 module offers features like RSA-3072-based secure boot and AES-128-XTS-based flash encryption for building secure connected devices. The module also includes a digital signature peripheral and HMAC peripheral for secure device identity. Furthermore, hardware acceleration support for cryptographic algorithms ensures efficient performance for secure communication within local networks and the Cloud.
