Adafruit Electroluminescent (EL) Panel - 10cm x 10cm White

This EL panel, the larger counterpart to EL wire, features a unique flat shape delivering a consistent glow across its entire surface. It's a large sheet of flexible plastic covered with electroluminescent material resembling a glowing square.

The glowing portion measures 10 cm by 10 cm, encompassed in a weather-proof plastic coating. While the panel itself is protected, the connectors are not waterproof. Best used indoors or temporary outdoor setups, it can be sewn onto or glued to surfaces for secure attachment. Avoid folding as it may crease and damage the panel.

The panel emits a slightly blue-tinted white illumination when powered and presents a pink shade when off. The product includes a removable protective film. Should you choose to customize, you can cut the panel as long as the sections remain continuous and connected to the JST cable.

To function, the panel requires an inverter. A 4xAAA inverter is recommended for individual panel operation, while a more permanent setup might benefit from a 12V EL inverter, powered by 8xAA batteries or a wall outlet.

Note the inherent variance in color and brightness across EL products like tape, wire, and panels, meaning white across these items may not match perfectly.
