The E1115 PS/2 Keyboard to ASCII Converter is a single chip solution engineered for efficiency, producing a TTL ASCII character with each keystroke. This conserves your host microcontroller's processing power by handling complex PS/2 keyboard decoding.

Features include selectable TTL serial or clocked serial data output, with an interrupt signal. Plug in a PS/2 Keyboard, and enjoy baud rates of 57.6K or 115.2K. This functionality simplifies user interface development by reducing reliance on keyboard port interrupts.

Enhanced compatibility with Magstripe and Barcode PS/2 readers makes it versatile. Pre-soldered and tested, this module delivers convenience and reliability. Note: this module doesn't support PS/2 Touchpads.
