Copper tape 5mm self-adhesive - 50 meters
Description
Copper tape with a width of 5 mm with an adhesive layer on the bottom. This tape is made of 99.98% copper with a thickness of 30 microns, which makes this tape very well guided. The tape can be used as a shield against interference, the laying of copper tracks or ground planes in circuits and can simply be soldered because it is pure copper. This tape is also very suitable against snail pests since snails have an aversion to copper and will not crawl over the tape quickly.

PascalIs there a paper layer on the sticky side? I'm looking for copper strips to hand out at a practical. It would be handy if the slice side isn't evenly open so I can cut the roll into pieces to hand out.

Jan HattumaI put 3KV voltage on this copper tape and unfortunately the snails go over it effortlessly. Sticks well by the way and also easy to repair if it breaks because of the conductive adhesive. See video https://photos.app.goo.gl/zQU2zSkoYN9V8xnr5 Perhaps a second strip had to be made under that earth (the wall paint may be insulating). But bottomline, the tape alone isn't enough to stop snails.
