Adafruit Cool White LED Weatherproof Flexi-Strip 60 LED - 1m

These LED strips provide dynamic illumination with 60 cool white LEDs per meter. Each strip can be controlled via any microcontroller and power transistor, necessitating a 9-12VDC power supply for direct connectivity. To dim the strips, integrate an NPN or N-channel MOSFET and employ PWM for input modulation.

The strips are weatherproof, featuring a white background and a robust 3M adhesive backing for adherence to smooth surfaces. Flexible usage scenarios include architectural lighting, such as under-counter or under-cabinet illumination, bicycle or car decorations, and lamp creation.

For optimal performance, consider our 12V 5A power supply. To make power connections, use a 2.1mm female jack with heat shrink tubing for secure wiring. For portability, an 8xAA battery holder is recommended.

Note: The strips are designed for indoor or mild outdoor use without prolonged exposure to sunlight or water. They should not be submerged or used in environments like pools. Removal of adhesive backing voids returnability. Each reel measures 5 meters, but can be cut at marked intervals every 5cm using wire cutters, and the weatherproof cover trimmed with a hobby knife.

These strips are sold by the meter; full reels come with two wires for direct 12V connection. When connecting, try both directions as wire colors may not indicate grounding. Reversing the connection will not harm the strip.
