Adafruit Coin Acceptor - Programmable 1 Coin Type

This coin validator/acceptor module mirrors those found in arcades, offering versatile and precise coin detection. Suitable for various currencies, it can accept coins with diameters ranging from 10.8mm to 25.1mm.

Program it effortlessly by selecting your preferred coin. Choose from three strictness levels to ensure valid coin detection based on diameter, thickness, and dropping speed. The unit responds with a 20-60ms pulse when a valid coin is recognized, and it includes essential accessories like mounting hardware and cables.

Powering it requires 12VDC. Program by holding the top button for five seconds, then inserting 30 sample coins. The connection to microcontrollers needs a pull-up resistor from the COIN wire to VCC, ensuring precise operation. Once configured, every valid coin triggers a pulse for seamless integration with your devices.
