With the capability of capturing and playing back stereo audio, it integrates seamlessly with your Raspberry Pi camera for enhanced project possibilities. The card features robust inputs and outputs, including SPDIF, Line In, Microphone, SPDIF Out, and Speaker Out, along with a dedicated headset port.

Powered by Cirrus Logic's WM5102 audio hub and WM8804 S/PDIF transceiver, as well as a pair of WM7220 digital microphone ICs, it ensures high-definition audio at 24-bit and 192kHz. The integrated 1.4W per channel Class D amplifier supports external speakers, requiring an additional power source.

Equipped with a 3.5mm 4-pole jack for headphone output, it accommodates headphones with a boom microphone. It's compatible with Raspberry Pi A+ and B+, though it doesn't support Model B, Model A, or Pi 2.
